The Kusavini Balaga is an association registered under The Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960. It is an association of Alumni of Kunchitigara Sarvajanika Vidyarthi Nilaya (KSV Nilaya), Bangalore.

Established in 1967, KSV Nilaya provides free accommodation and food facilities to rural poor/orphan students from backward classes who pursue professional courses like Medicine, Engineering, and Post-graduation. Over the last 45 years, thousands of students have benefited and some have gone on to serve as IAS, IPS, and KAS officers.
